The Celebrity Facialist: Shane Cooper

Shane Cooper is the facialist behind many famous faces and has always been interested in beauty and fashion from a young age. He is a beauty aficionado who is devoted to pampering his clients and is proving popular with celebrities. This week the sought-after facialist talks to the Celebrity Beauty Stalker.

1. What is your skincare philosophy?

I personally love to keep it simple. That is, simple works best.

Using advanced skin technology and choosing the right anti-ageing skincare or serums to keep you looking younger without going under the surgeons knife is all that you need. It’s that simple.

2. Have you ever suffered from a skin complaint?

I haven’t suffered with bad skin myself, but I have always been around others that have experienced skin complaints such as acne and scaring. I could see how this impacted all areas in their life, and how this can damage a persons confidence and self esteem.

3. What do you use on your own skin?

To be honest. I like to use my signature treatment on my skin (when I can) and keep my skin regime simple but effective.

4. Do you believe in using high-tech skin technology to reverse the signs of ageing?

YES, YES,YES!  And don’t just take my word for it. Just look at my clients skin results which do all the talking. I believe that using advanced multifunctional skin technology can turn back time for men and women.

5. How did you start as a facialist?

It was down to my Mum who was having regular CACI facial  treatments. CACI stands for (Computer Aided Cosmetology Instrument) and gives facial muscles a workout and reduces wrinkles.  After seeing my Mum’s dramatic skin results we decided to invest in the CACI Ultimate system. I graduated as a CACI therapist and soon discovered how much I enjoyed caring for people’s skin and making them feel confident by improving their  skin concerns. I became my Mother’s personal facialist and achieved fantastic treatment results for her using CACI. I have now also added to my treatment list two more advanced solutions. The Cryo Cool lifting gun, a powerful CO2 flow at a very low temperature and a high pressure, combined with an extremely high concentration of active ingredients. And the Geneo+ and LipoFirm pro technology for face and body. Lipofirm Pro technology uniquely combines two technologies – TriLipo Radio frequency (RF) and TriLipo Dynamic Muscle Activation (DMA). Working simultaneously using a single applicator, they create a synergistic effect that delivers non-invasive fat removal and lymphatic drainage, as well as skin tightening.

6. You are a renowned high-tech anti-ageing expert. Why did you choose to specialise only on skin?

I do not only specialise on skin. My treatments are tailored to strengthen and grip facial muscles and  improving complexions by using alternating anti-ageing techniques to achieve a fuller, more youthful-looking skin.

7. Tell readers about your signature treatment?

My signature facial is a combination of high-tech devices. This is a hardcore Ultimate facial workout using the Geneo+ (4 in 1 facial) and the CACI Non-Surgical ‘Facelift’ to complete the ultimate facial. This treatment is the ‘Mother’ of all treatments and works all 32 facial muscles, tightens and tones using microcurrent and radio frequency and ends with Cryo Cool-lifting treatment.

8. How much do you charge and  do you have any celebrity clients?

My prices are depending on the treatment and start from £200. I am a beauty nomad and being mobile allows me to take my beauty equipment to clients homes or hotels.

I am grateful for all my clients and have received great testimonials.

My celebrity clientele, Katie Price, Vogue Williams, Brian McFadden, Craig Colton, Duncan James, Amy Christophers and Gail Porter have all provided amazing treatment testimonials too.

10. Do you believe we are what we eat?

Absolutely!  Eating the right foods play a huge role in life and can effect our skin and mind. It is essential to be mindful to what we eat and exercise good habits of course.

11. Do you rate sheet masks and are they really good for your skin?

Yes and I am a huge fan of using the CACI Hydro Gel Mask  that is filled with Hyaluronic acid , Collagen and Rose – it keeps skin hydrated for days!
